Whether you’re adding Apple CarPlay / Android Auto to your car, programming a standalone ECU, or monitoring engine data, there are plenty of reasons to install a touchscreen in your BMW E30.

This bolt-on touchscreen mount replaces the ashtray and is powered by the cigarette lighter, requiring no permanent modifications. The screen is detachable via two hand screws, allowing you to use it outside the car. Available for both right-hand drive (RHD) and left-hand drive (LHD) models.

Important Notes:

  • ❌ Does not fit IX models with automatic transmission due to center console differences.
  • 📡 Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are wireless, supporting navigation, phone calls, and music.
  • 🔊 The easiest way to output sound is via a Bluetooth head unit, but an AUX cable can also be used.

Eigentor!

Bin leider nach einen guten Start bei der Kommunikation, ein bisschen Verärgert, das ich keine Antwort auf meine E-mails nach dem Kauf bekomme. Verarbeitung ist soweit ok, außer den dünnen Führungsstiften am Rahmen, die den Monitor fixieren sollen, diese sind leider bei der Montage abgebrochen. Auch sind die Verschraubungen leider ein bisschen zu unzugänglich., man braucht dazu schon Babyfinger um diese zu drehen. Alles in allem ein sehr cooles Gerät für den BMW E30.
Leider fehlte bei meiner Lieferung im Oberen Bereich eine Abdeckung, auf mehrmalige E-mail Anfragen wird nicht mehr geantwortet. Finde ich persönlich ein No Go.
Funktion des Touchscreen ist soweit ok, Service nach Kauf nicht ok. Wollte noch einige Sachen bestellen, das werde ich aber nach dem Service erstmal nicht machen. Schade.

I've well noted the problem you've encountered with the broken tabs.
I will redesign them to be thougher, and ship you a new frame.
Regarding the button, it's not missing, there is simply no cap for it in the first place.
But I might add one in the future!

I love using this touch screen with Apple CarPlay. I was tired of using my phone to control the music and navigation on my aftermarket radio. It really looks like it belongs in the E30 and keeps a super clean restomod feel. Has lots of applications and features.

Das Display ist sehr gut, CarPlay läuft flüssig und die Audio ist gut. Verarbeitung ist auch gut, nur die Verschraubungen sind ein wenig unzugänglich. Alles in allem ein sehr cooles Gerät für meinen E30.
